Michelle is a Certified Wedding Consultant (CWC), with over 20 years of experience in the Hospitality and Event Planning Industries. Christy Matthews is the owner of Christy Matthews Events, and specializes in Month of Wedding Planning and Same Sex Wedding Planning. Together they are The Big Wedding Planning Podcast! The Big Wedding Planning Podcast's mission is to bring real, honest, experience-based advice to the masses in a grounded, accessible, and entertaining way. We don't judge, we don't shame, we don't discriminate and we don't fan the flames of impossible expectations. We believe a wedding should be an expression of love, and we believe wedding planning can be fun!

Valley & Company Events was founded in 2003 by Aleah and Nick Valley, who believe there's always a reason to celebrate. They specialize in telling the stories of their couples and clients through innovative and fun planning, design, and floral creation and they are the authors of the festive new book Storied Weddings. Aleah loves creating the ambiance and experiential stories for our couples and, on top of planning, works tirelessly to create fresh designs and floral creations unique to each couple. She loves entertaining and travel and, naturally, flowers! Nick brings to life the incredible framework for each of our events, ensuring our creative team is logistically sound, and crafting the best parties around. He loves that moment at our events when guests are there and nowhere else. Nick also loves tropical beaches and the rustling of palm trees!
Teissia Treynet & Alia Wilson
Teissia Treynet (the brunette) started Firefly in 2009 out of her studio apartment in Los Angeles, California. In 2011, she opened the New York office and brought on seasoned New Yorker, Alia Wilson (the blonde). Their mutual love of beauty, design, list making, organization, and amazing parties have earned them top planner titles from Vogue, Harper’s BAZAAR, Martha Stewart, Brides, and The Knot. Teissia and Alia, as they are loving referred to by friends and colleagues, travel between the three Firefly locales, but are happy to call Northern and Southern California home for the time being. Alia resides in NorCal with her wonderful husband and two sons, while Teissia lives a beach life in SoCal with her adventurous fiancé (stay tuned for their wedding plans). Together, Teissia and Alia have created hundreds of innovative weddings and events and are currently working on their most exciting event yet: The Firefly Method. When they aren’t traveling the world producing events or creating content for their online programs, Teissia can be found mountain biking, snowboarding, or drinking a spicy margarita with friends, and Alia can be found on a forest hike with her family or sipping a gin and tonic and listening to podcasts.
Molly Hartman is the Founder and Creative Director of Rye Workshop, an experiential design agency specializing in private events and events for established and emerging brands. A fan of all things that get her hands dirty, she loves the entire design process -- from moodboard to lighting the last candle. You can often find her clinking glasses with friends on a Tuesday (every day is a good day to celebrate) or traipsing around Prospect Park in the sunshine. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her sweet husband and two naughty cats.

Although a Paris-native, Lauren has lived in NYC most of her life. She always knew she was going to own a business where she would create magic and memories. Whether she is working with a charm-laden raw space or a sprawling family estate, the common thread between Loli weddings & events is that every last detail strikes a balance between approachability and luxury. Lauren loves to weave high-quality design elements into experiences that feel comforting and reflect a shining sense of hospitality, something she picked up while planning events for the likes of restaurateur Daniel Boulud & Thomas Keller.
Since arriving at Boston in 2013, Andrea Timpano has covered everything from healthcare and home design to Real New England Weddings and real estate. Now the editor in chief of Boston Home and Boston Weddings, she continues to explore the local design and wedding industries while writing for Boston in her spare time.

Elizabeth LaDuca is a wedding photographer focused on creating emotive, honest and natural photography for discerning couples. She specializes in traditional film photography, and seeks to tell a couple's story from biggest emotion to smallest detail on their wedding day. Elizabeth's work has been featured in BRIDES, Vanity Fair, Style Me Pretty, Carats & Cake and she was named 'Best Wedding Photographer' by Boston Magazine in 2018. She is based in Massachusetts and welcomes travel for celebrations around the country.

Jason is a videographer, marketing professional, and all around creative who believes that there’s no point in doing something if it can’t be the very best. That has been StopGoLove’s motto since its humble beginning in 2010. After hearing way too many wedding day horror stories, Jason and Jared teamed up to see if they couldn’t do any better. Jason is a natural student and educator; it’s one of the reasons StopGoLove is an industry leader when it comes to new technology and shooting techniques.
Veronica Armstrong is the Head of Marketing at Mayflower Venues. As an expert in customer acquisition as well as the wedding industry, she’s become a leader in the field of providing couples with a perfect marriage of technology and an authentic wedding experience. Mayflower Venues enables couples to discover and book nontraditional outdoor venues that they can easily customize to reflect their story and values. Nichole Wardle has been with Longwood since 2007 and has been promoted within the company several times from Sales Manager, Senior Sales Manager, Director of Sales for Belle Mer, Director of Destination Venues, to now most currently as the Director of Sales and Marketing for all of Longwood properties serving on the Executive leadership team. During her time with the company, Nichole has been involved in many exciting projects: scouting new properties, acquiring new properties, building teams, on-boarding and administrating marketing software and technology, training team’s pre and post construction, creating company-wide policy and being responsible for the overall function revenue company-wide. Nichole gets to be a part of the vision of the Longwood Venues + Destinations brand and our plans for the future. Notably, Nichole has been named a top forty business leader under 40 by Providence Business News and teaches courses on Event Management and Social Media Strategy at the University of Rhode Island.

Julie Pike is the co-owner & founder of Fete Collection a custom invitation and stationery studio established in 2016. She brings her years of event planning & wholesale printing expertise to the world of modern correspondence. Julie understands weddings and events beyond the scope of paper. 42 North is a full-service planning and design firm founded by Francie Dorman and Britt Cole, two seasoned creative event producers with a specialty in distinctive weddings at private estates and non-traditional venues nationwide. As dedicated partners, they customize the wedding planning experience to best suit each client’s demanding lifestyle. Working with just a small number of clients per year, 42 North is able to conceptualize a unique vision from the ground up, interpreting each couple's taste for a thoughtfully designed and flawlessly executed celebration. 42 North has been named top planner in the US by BRIDES Magazine, featured by Vogue, Martha Stewart Weddings, Town & Country, InStyle Magazine, and the Huffington Post.
Len is the principal of DesignLight, a firm specializing in social event design, as well as architectural lighting and performance. He is a graduate of Emerson College with a degree in Theatre Design. He knows that creating that special feeling, the je ne sais quoi, is paramount to the success of any event. An avid sailor, Len is comfortable both taking the helm and being on the crew of any sailing adventure or work event.
Director of Real Weddings, Brides
Anna Price Olson is the director of real weddings at Brides, where she works closely with planners and photographers to curate inspiring real wedding content and share couples' stories. Anna has worked at Brides for nearly five years, and previously wrote about everything from wedding venues to reception decor. Before joining Brides, she worked at _Atlanta_ Magazine, where she was first introduced to (and fell in love with) the world of weddings. Anna graduated from the University of Alabama Honors College in 2014, with a BA in journalism and English. She is a native of Thomasville, Georgia, and now resides in NYC’s Chelsea neighborhood.
Rumphius Flowers, run by Katie Henry, crafts wild, natural florals for unique weddings and parties. Founded in Brooklyn and now based in Massachusetts, we travel all over the Northeast to design flowers that feel contiguous with the surrounding landscape, appropriate to the season, and individually tailored to each couple and celebration.
Diana's story with Jubilee Events began back in 2009 while she was a young 21 attending the University of Connecticut. She didn’t major in event planning as that wasn’t even an option back then, but she did chair a committee that hosted a number of events for the entire campus community, so planning for an array of people is her kind of thing. She truly dreams about ribbons, flowers, colors, confetti, and cake. Always cake!! Beth Lindsay Chapman is a veteran of the fashion industry and known for her work as a stylist, bridal boutique owner, mentor, author, and wedding fashion consultant. Her love of bridal fashion, and sincere desire to create a memorable shopping experience for brides, compelled her to launch The White Dress by the shore, a luxury bridal boutique in Connecticut, in 2004. Beth is also the founder of Beth Chapman Styling where she assists brides in selecting fashion for their wedding that reflects their personal style and provides day of wedding dressing services. Beth’s fashion artistry has allowed her to style editorial shoots throughout the world. She is the co-author of two books, The White Dress in Color, and The White Dress Destinations her work and voice can be seen in many major bridal publications and blogs.

Dana is a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in New England. Over the past eight years, she and her husband Zak have had the honor to document the most heartfelt celebrations across the globe. Naturally drawn to small and intimate connections, she documents the day as it unfolds with a relaxed, intuitive approach. Her favorite work shows real emotion - big heartfelt hugs, quiet loving glances, and belly laughs. Dana has been recognized as a top wedding photographer in the world by Brides Magazine and was named Improper Bostonians Best of 2018. Her work has appeared in every major wedding publication - but her proudest work is in treasured heirlooms she's created for her couples. She most enjoys beach days with her kids and family.
